Luminous white waves
New concept created by the architect, artist and designer, Cari Cohen, in her new series Sculpture + Light.
The artwork evokes a novel effect. Light becomes intertwined in the work of art. The wood-based paintings are painted with acrylic, and spray paint. A sculpture made by plaster and painted with acrylic and spray paint is assemble to the wood piece creating a unique peace illuminated from behind with a LED light box.
The art has a separate LED lighting unit that is easily installed on the wall. It can be turned on with an on/off switch powered with batteries. The light can remain on, or you can choose to keep it off, and turn it on for special occasions.
