Light becomes intertwined in the work of art. The base is wood painted with acrylic. This art piece has two layers of painted wood. A sculpture made by plaster and painted with acrylic and spray paint is assemble to the wood piece creating a unique art piece illuminated from behind with a LED light box.
The art has a separate LED lighting unit that is easily installed on the wall. It can be turned on with an on/off switch powered with batteries. The light can remain on, or you can choose to keep it off, and turn it on for special occasions.
The juxtaposition of flat pieces, the organic sculpture and the pop-up light of the LED light box gives a unique three-dimensional effect.
